Policies

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please cancel or change your reservation before 5PM the day before your scheduled appointment. Any same day cancellations, no shows or changes to your reservation will incur a 50% service charge.

CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT: We require a credit card to secure all appointments over the phone and through our online booking system. No exceptions. Skin+Touch Therapy Gift Cards cannot be used to secure appointments. We ask that all new and current guests supply a credit card to have on file. All cards on file are added to the system via a secure electronic process that ensures the information is encrypted and remains secure. No charges will be placed on the card unless there is a late cancellation or no show.

LATE ARRIVALS: For the best experience, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Please allow time for parking, check-in and use of bathroom before your service. If you are late, we will try our best to give you as much time as possible, but your service time may have to be shortened. You will still be responsible for the full appointment charge.

SICK POLICY: In order to maintain a healthy environment, we ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are sick or if have the onset of symptoms for a cold, a fever, the flu, etc. This is for the health of our employees and other clients, but it is for your well being as well, because receiving a service when you are sick is not advised. While in the early and acute stages of a cold, the flu or other illness, spa services can accelerate the onset of the infection and intensify its severity via additional circulation of blood & lymph. Please wait until you have been well for at least a week before getting your service. If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us the day before and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when you are feeling better. If you cancel on the same day as your scheduled service, or if you arrive for your appointment with visible symptoms of illness, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment and charged a 50% service charge.

REFUNDS: All gift cards and prepaid services are final sale. We do not refund any prepaid services and no cash will be given for gift cards or unused balances. Any unopened or unused retail items can be returned for credit within two weeks of purchase.

GRATUITY: Prices do not include gratuities. Our licensed therapist kindly request and appreciate 15%-20%. For your convenience, we accept cash, credit cards, or your Skin+Touch Therapy Gift Cards for gratuities. We appreciate your cooperation and generosity.

GROUP BOOKINGS: We have a special prix fixe spa services menu for groups of 3 or more. This special menu includes gratuity and an administration fee. Group bookings have a 48hr cancellation window; if there are cancellations or service downgrades less than 48 hours in advance, or if the group no-shows, you will still be responsible for the full service fee of your originally scheduled appointments.

PAYMENT: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and cash. No checks please.

GIFT CARDS: Gift Cards are sold in dollar amounts and not by service, which allows the recipient to choose the services that are right for them. Service prices are not guaranteed because prices may increase between the time of purchase of the gift card and the service appointment. However, the dollar amount on gift cards is guaranteed. Skin+Touch Therapy Spa Gift Cards can be used only at our Fredericksburg and Culpeper locations, and only for only services, retail products and gratuities. Change will not be given, but the balance will remain on the card until its expiration date. Skin+Touch Therapy Spa Gift Cards cannot be used to secure appointments. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. No fees will be deducted for unused gift cards. No refunds will be given for gift cards. We will try to redeem the remaining value of any lost gift cards but there are no guarantees. If the lost gift card was used or the balance was reduced, we will only honor the remaining balance.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS: When making any appointments or before the beginning of your service, please let us know if you are pregnant or have any health conditions, allergies, injuries, ingrown toenails or special needs. This information will help us customize your service to ensure the highest satisfaction and benefits.

NAIL CARE AFTER SERVICES: Skin+Touch Therapy Spa stands by the quality if its work to ensure you enjoy your experience. While we cannot issue a refund, if your nails chip within three days after your service (four days for gel polish), we invite you to book a complimentary touch-up on the affected nails. Please email info@skintouchtherapyspa.com with a photo and the date and time of your original appointment. We will schedule a touch-up with the original nail technician within 5 business days after your email is received. Any touch-up appointments scheduled outside of this 5 day window will be charged at full price.
